Mount Kerinci (also spelled "Kerintji", and is known as Mount Kerenci, Tower, Volcano Kurinci, Korinci, or Indrapura Peak) is the highest mountain in Sumatra, Indonesia and the highest peak outside of Papua. Mount Kerinci is located in the Bukit Barisan, near the west coast, and is located approximately 130 km south of Padang. He is the most famous feature of the National Park Kerinci Seblat.
Kerinci is still active and last erupted in 1970.
